- To help learners get started with 4 skills in Unit 8

- Reading: Read about new ways to learn English

- Speaking: Talk about how electronic devices can help us learn

- Listening: Listen to instructions on how to access and use online English language materials

- Writing: Write about advantages of electronic devices as learning tools

3. Attitudes:

- To help Ss get started for Unit 8 with the topic "New ways to learn"

- To provide Ss some motivation

II. PREPARATION

- Teaching aids: textbook, lesson plan

- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching

2. Students: - Read through English Unit 8 - getting started at home
